How to choose PE protective film

How to choose PE protective film that is not contaminated, corroded, scratched, and protects the original bright surface during use, thereby improving product quality and market competitiveness. According to the editor's understanding, currently PE protective film is mainly used in the following industries:

Hardware industry: computer cases, galvanized sheet stamping, aluminum plates, stainless steel plates, titanium plates, plastic plates, glass plates, solar panels, etc.

Photovoltaic industry: LCD displays, backlighting, cold light, thin-film switches, mobile phone screens, etc.

Plastic industry: ABS, PP injection molded products, PVC sheets, acrylic sheets, instruments and meters, plastic lenses, spray painted surface protection, etc.

Printing industry: Surface protection of printing plates such as PVC, PC board, aluminum plate, and film.

Wire and cable industry: protection of shaft mounted copper wire, semi-finished products, finished products, and finished products can effectively prevent dust pollution, anti-oxidation, and anti fouling effects.

Electronic industry: In production, polyethylene protective film is generally used to protect finished and semi-finished products, making it less prone to scratches and damage on assembly lines.

Mobile phone digital industry: mobile phone film, also known as mobile phone beauty film and mobile phone protective film, can be used to install a cold surface facial mask on the mobile phone body and screen.

The use of PE protective film is so extensive, so how to choose PE protective film has become the top priority. Today, I will share with you the tips for choosing PE protective film for online painting precision five times! As follows:

1. It is difficult to identify the degree of light penetration with the naked eye, so it is best to use optical instruments for measurement. There is a simpler method, which is to choose PE protective film, reduce the small piece of desktop in the middle, and then create a WORD document on the computer. Check the white degree (professionally called brightness) in the sticker and sticker area or a blank document in different film fields on the computer. The brightest material can be selected for contrast, and its penetrability is the best protective film.

2. See haze

1. What do you think of PE protective film fog? The method is the same as above. After each protective film is applied, the clearer the color of the computer display screen, the less haze there will be. The smaller the haze, the better the materials.

2. In a dark room, turn on the fluorescent light, remove the PE protective film, and peel off the film to cover the eyes and light between the hands. If you carefully observe that there is a layer of mist evenly distributed on the PE protective film, this is the culprit. The more severe the impact of mist, the worse the material, and the better the display; (Please note that haze affects permeability, but it is different from permeability!)

3. Static electricity

Due to the fact that LCD displays are sensitive to static electricity, the static protection film should be applied as little as possible. The testing method is to prepare a PE protective film test (three or two layers of material), smoke a cigarette, put some cigarette ash on the desktop, or get some tiny paper scraps on the desktop, then remove the top layer of the PE protective film (this step is required for three-layer materials), and then tear off the protective film of the silicone layer. When tearing off this layer of PE protective film (silicone surface), immediately use cigarette ash or colorful paper scraps to approach the protective film and see if the protective film will adsorb these things to the protective film of the silicone layer. The degree of adsorption will be stronger. The stronger the static electricity, the worse the material, and vice versa.

4. Blow up

1. Whether the PE protective film is scratched is currently the most concerned issue. Scratch resistant materials on the market are basically the same (2-3 hours), with good performance except for scratched and non scratched points. The testing method is to use a pencil with a hardness of 3H and push the PE protective film with a strength of 500G at a 45 degree angle for 10 times. If there are no scratches, it is considered that the hardness requirement of 3H can be achieved.

A simple method is to use a slightly hard metal device or a newly cut nail on the strength of the PE protective film, which is usually scraped with a pen and easily scratched. If you decide not to scratch it, you cannot be sure if it has anti scratch scratch function.

5. Fingerprint

In recent years, with the increase in screen size of many products and the growing number of smartphones adding capacitive screens (which can be touched with fingers instead of sliding with a pen like the old Bressi phones)
